To qualify for the Greenlight offer, both you and your child must have an active Share Account with Valley Strong Credit Union. If you don’t have one, follow these simple steps to get started.
1. Open a Parent and Child Share Account – Easily apply for your Share (Savings) Account here.
2. Enroll with Greenlight – Access the Greenlight offer directly in Online Banking.
3. Download Greenlight – Download your Greenlight app, set up your account and get cards for up to 5 kids.

To activate your free Greenlight account, ensure that both you and your child have a Valley Strong Share (Savings) Account. Parents with qualifying accounts will see the Greenlight offer in Online Banking. Simply click to accept the offer and begin your enrollment!

Frequently asked questions about Greenlight.

Do I have to be a Valley Strong Member to use Greenlight?
No. You can sign up for Greenlight directly through Greenlight, but you will not receive free access. For Valley Strong to cover the cost of your Greenlight subscription, you, and any child being added to the Greenlight Account, must have an active Share Account with Valley Strong. If you do not currently have a Share Account, you can easily get started here.

How do I enroll in Greenlight?
To access your free Greenlight account, please enroll from the Greenlight button in your Valley Strong online banking account or within the Valley Strong mobile app.

How do I manage my Greenlight account?
All activities on the Greenlight account will be managed on the Greenlight app. Parents will be able to see Greenlight balances and link to Greenlight from their Valley Strong account list in online banking.

Can others send money to my child’s Greenlight account?
Family and friends can send funds to the child’s Greenlight card through Greenlight's Paylink option. The Paylink is sent from the child to the transferrer. The parent must first approve the transfer and then the funds go directly into the child's spend anywhere category!

How do I transfer funds from Greenlight to a Valley Strong account?
If you would like to have savings dollars transferred to the child’s Rocky Savings account, the parent will need to transfer the funds in Greenlight from the child to the Greenlight Parent Wallet and then to the parent's Valley Strong account. Once the funds are in the parent’s Valley Strong account they can transfer the funds to the child’s Rocky Savings account.

Do I have to pay for a Greenlight debit card?
The standard Greenlight debit card is complimentary with this offer. If you and your child would like a personalized custom debit card, a fee will be associated with it that will be debited from the parent's Greenlight account balance.

How do I dispute a transaction on my child's Greenlight account?
If you would like to dispute a purchase, please have the parent or account owner call the Greenlight support line at your earliest convenience at 888-483-2645.
