Release of Liability: Alerts sent via SMS may not be delivered to you if your phone is not in the range of a transmission site, or if sufficient network capacity is not available at a particular time. Even within coverage, factors beyond the control of wireless carriers may interfere with messages delivery for which the carrier is not responsible. Carriers do not guarantee that alerts will be delivered.
Q: Why would I receive a text(SMS) message?
A: You may receive a text message in the event there appears to be suspicous activity associated with your Valley Strong card. These messages are sent as a real-time alert to protect you against potentially fraudulent use of your Valley Strong card.
Q: When should I expect to start receiving text (SMS) messages?
A: This service will be implemented in early 2021. Messages may be received at any time (24/7/365).
Q: What number will the text message come from?
A: Text messages will come from a 5-digit code. The message will not come from a traditional formatted number (xxx) xxx-xxxx.
Q: Will I be charged any fees for these messages?
A: Valley Strong does not charge any fees for this service. Please check with your wireless carrier for any applicable data fees.
Q: What information will be requested?
A: A “Yes” or “No” response is all that is required. Valley Strong will never ask you for your card number, expiration date, or CVV code located on the back of your card.
Q: What happens after I reply?
A: After you reply, you will then receive further information and/or instructions based on the response provided.
Q: What if I do not respond to the text (SMS) message?
A: If there is no response to the text message, Valley Strong will attempt to contact you by other means. If we are unable to reach you, we will provide contact information for you to respond at your earliest convenience.
