As concerns around coronavirus (COVID-19) continue, Valley Strong is committed to meeting the needs of our community.

Our branches remain open

Effective Monday, March 23, 2020, Valley Strong branches will continue to serve in the following capacities:

  • Delano, Downtown, Mt. Vernon, River Run and Tehachapi will continue to offer full service with additional protections in place to safeguard team members and the public.
  • Artisan, Buena Vista, Ming, Panama, and Town & Country branches will convert to drive-up service only.
  • All drive-up services will open one hour early, beginning at 8 a.m.
  • Town & Country will add Saturday drive-up service.

Rest assured, your funds deposited at Valley Strong remain safe and secure during these uncertain times. As of February 29, Valley Strong’s net worth stood near 10%. Based upon net worth guidelines set by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), any financial institution exceeding 7% net worth would be considered “well capitalized.”

The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund provides account holders with at least $250,000 of insurance at federally insured credit unions, like Valley Strong.
